Dapper Dan Doll is a Colorado-based pin up model. She’s the co-founder of Pinups for Charity, a nonprofit that raises money for one in-need Colorado family every year.
“It’s not just me going out and posing in a picture and
getting it published or whatever, you know?
It’s definitely about more than that.”
Miss Rockwell Di Vil is a burlesque artists and pin up model, in addition to doing hair and makeup for pinup photo shoots. She began the Miss Viva Las Vegas Pinup contest, and continues to serve as its host and organizer.
“I just want to make women feel beautiful, however that is.”
Miss Emilie (also known as Rickashanaynay) is an aspiring pin up model, journalist, and derby girl extraordinaire. She’s a Colorado native, born and raised in the small northern Colorado town of Greeley. She says pin up helped her find herself.
“I guess I kind of got it from my dad
He was in World War II. My dad died when I was five.
I think it is, in a way, almost like paying homage to him.”
Sydney Ralston is a screenwriter and aspiring pin up model. She was born and raised in Burbank and considers it her heart and soul. She graduated from the University of Southern California in 2015.
“I don’t have a pin up name. Who the hell is Sydney Ralston?
It’s kind of more of a lifestyle to me. It just another of those things I can escape to, you know,
for a moment you’re not like the outside world.”
Ginger Rose is a model, actress, and burlesque dancer. She was born in Boulder, Colorado, grew up outside of Chicago, and currently lives in Fort Collins along Colorado’s Front Range. She shares her home with a cat and a snake.
“I just want to do everything. I understand that I can’t do everything all at once. But I want to.”
Bang Bang Von Loola is the co-founder of the Blue Stocking BurlyQs, a burlesque troupe based in Fort Collins, Colorado. She is also an accomplished vintage and runway model. One of her burlesque sisters says she was “born posing.”
“The surge in burlesque and pin up coming back is because
we’re able to do it for a different reason.
It’s more for personal and empowerment as opposed to
this is what you do because you’re a woman.”
Ashleeta Beauchamp is a burlsque dancer and pin up model. You may also see the former University of California Los Angeles track star as one of the store managers at the Los Angeles store of vintage lingerie retailer What Katie Did.

The ’50s/’40s kind of look, it just looks good.
It stands the test of time. It’s classic.
B. Sinclair is the founder of Bombshells Against Bullying, a web-based advocacy organization for the victims of bullying. She’s also a San Francisco-based model.
